Božidar Bandović (Serbian Cyrillic: Божидар Бандовић), born on August 30, 1969, is a football expert from Montenegro. He used to be a professional player and is now a well-known football manager.

Playing Career
Božidar Bandović was born in Nikšić, which was part of Yugoslavia back then. He played as a defender. One of his biggest achievements as a player was winning a national cup in 1993. He achieved this while playing for Red Star Belgrade, a famous football club.
Interestingly, Božidar also has an older brother, Nebojša Bandović, who was also a footballer for Red Star Belgrade.
Coaching Career
Božidar Bandović started his coaching journey as an assistant. He worked with Greek coach Babis Tennes. They helped teams like Akratitos and Kerkyra get promoted to the top league in Greece.
Working with Olympiacos
From 2006 to 2010, Bandović spent a lot of time at Olympiacos, a very successful Greek club. He started as a head of analysis and scout. This meant he studied opponent teams to help Olympiacos win.
He also served as an assistant coach twice. In 2008, he helped the team win the Greek Championship and Greek Cup. He also stepped in as a temporary head coach twice. During these times, Olympiacos played in the UEFA Champions League, which is a big European competition.
Managing Other Clubs
After Olympiacos, Bandović became a head coach for several teams.
- In 2010, he joined Kerkyra again. He helped them stay in the top league for the first time in their history.
- In 2012, he managed FC Baku in Azerbaijan. His team had a great run, not losing for 10 games in a row. They also reached the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup.
Success in Thailand
Bandović found great success managing clubs in Thailand.
- In 2014, he coached Buriram United. His team went unbeaten for 12 games.
- In 2016, as head coach of Sisaket, his team did not lose a single home game for seven months. This was a club record!
He returned to Buriram United in 2017. This was a very successful period:
- In 2017, he led them to win the Thai Premier League. They set a new league record with 86 points.
- In 2018, they won the Thai Premier League again. They broke their own record with 87 points and had an amazing 15 consecutive wins.
- He was named the Thai Premier League Coach of The Year in 2018.
- Under his guidance, Buriram United reached the "Round of 16" in the AFC Champions League. This is a big achievement for an Asian club.
- In 2019, they started the season by winning the Thailand Champions Cup.
Recent Coaching Roles
More recently, Bandović has continued his coaching career in different countries:
- In 2021, he became the head coach of Chennaiyin in the Indian Super League.
- In 2023, he managed Hanoi FC in Vietnam, where he won the Vietnamese Super Cup in 2022.
- He also coached PT Prachuap in Thailand.
- Currently, he is managing Vojvodina in Serbia.
