Božidar Bandović (Serbian Cyrillic: Божидар Бандовић) was born on August 30, 1969. He is a professional football manager from Montenegro. He also used to be a player.

Božidar Bandović's Football Journey
Playing Days
Božidar Bandović was born in Nikšić, Montenegro. During his time as a player, he played for several teams. While playing for Red Star Belgrade, he helped his team win a national cup in 1993. His younger brother, Nebojša Bandović, also played football for Red Star.
Starting as a Coach
Bandović began his coaching career as an assistant coach. He worked with Greek coach Babis Tennes at Kerkyra from 2005 to 2006. Before that, he was at Akratitos from 2004 to 2005. Both teams moved up from the Second Division to the First Division during his time there.
Coaching Big Teams
Success in Greece
From 2006 to 2010, Bandović worked at Olympiacos, a very famous Greek club. He started as the head of analysis and a scout. This meant he studied opposing teams to help Olympiacos succeed in the Champion League and win the Greek Championship.
He also served as an assistant coach twice at Olympiacos. From January to June 2008, he assisted head coach José Segura. During this time, the team won the championship and the Greek Cup. He was also an assistant manager from June to October 2010.
Bandović even took charge of Olympiacos as a temporary head coach two times. The first time was in September 2009, and the second was in January 2010. He led the team in important games, including Champion League matches.
In November 2010, he became the head coach of Kerkyra. He helped the club stay in the First Division, which was a big achievement for them. He left the club in November 2011.
Adventures in Asia
On January 17, 2012, Bandović was announced as the manager for Larissa. Later, in June 2012, he moved to Azerbaijan to manage FC Baku. Under his leadership, FC Baku played well, reaching the semifinals of the Azerbaijan Cup. The team also set a club record by not losing 10 games in a row.
Winning in Thailand
Bandović then moved to Thailand to manage Buriram United starting in January 2014. His team had a great start in the Champion League. In the championship, they went unbeaten for 12 games, moving from 13th place to 3rd. He left the club in July 2014.
In 2016, as head coach of Sisaket, he helped the club achieve a record. They stayed undefeated at their home ground for seven months straight.
He returned to Buriram United as head coach in June 2017. He led them to win the Thai Premier League in 2017, setting a league record with 86 points. This was the most points ever earned in the league's history at that time. Under his guidance, the club also won awards like "Best developing club" and "Best player of the year."
In 2018, he led Buriram United to another Thai Premier League title. They broke their own record by winning 87 points and also set a new record with 15 consecutive wins. He was named the Thai Premier League Coach of The Year for 2018.
His team also did very well in the AFC Champions League in 2018. They made it to the "Round of 16" after playing tough teams. They were ranked as the 12th best club in this competition for the 2018 season. In 2019, they started the season by winning the Thailand Champions Cup.
Coaching in India and Vietnam
On July 10, 2021, Bandović became the head coach of Chennaiyin, a club in the Indian Super League. His team started the 2021–22 Indian Super League season with a 1–0 win.
In 2023, he coached Hanoi FC in Vietnam. He then moved to PT Prachuap in Thailand later that year. Since December 2023, he has been the head coach of Vojvodina in Serbia.
