Bojana Novakovic (Serbian Cyrillic: Бојана Новаковић, Serbian: Bojana Novaković) is an Australian actress. She is famous for her roles in TV shows and movies. You might know her from the TV series Instinct, where she played a detective.
She has also been in many films. Some of her well-known movies include Drag Me to Hell (2009), Edge of Darkness (2010), Devil (2010), I, Tonya (2017), and Birds of Prey (2020).

Early Life and Education
Bojana Novakovic was born in Belgrade, which was then part of Yugoslavia. Her younger sister, Valentina Novakovic, is also an actress. When Bojana was seven years old, in 1988, her family moved to Australia.
At first, Bojana thought about becoming a social worker or a doctor. But she later decided she wanted to act. She studied at The McDonald College in Sydney. She was the top student there in 1998. Later, she graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2002.
Acting Career Highlights
In 2003, Bojana played a character named Randa in the TV mini-series Marking Time. For this role, she won an AFI Award for "Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Television Drama or Comedy." This was a big award in Australia for TV and film.
She has acted in many Australian films. These include Blackrock (1996), The Monkey's Mask (1999), and Thunderstruck (2004). She also appeared in Serbian films like The Optimists (2005).
From 2007 to 2009, she was in the TV series Satisfaction. She also continued to act in international films. Some of these were Drag Me to Hell (2009), Edge of Darkness (2009), and Devil (2010).
Bojana has also performed in many plays. She has worked with famous theatre companies like the Sydney Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company. She was nominated for awards for her theatre work, too. For example, she received a Helpmann award nomination for her role in Woyzeck in 2009.
She even runs her own theatre company called Ride On Theatre. She has produced and performed in several plays for her company. In 2010, she was nominated for an AFI International Award for Best Actress for her role in Edge of Darkness.
From 2013 to 2014, Bojana starred in the American TV series Rake. In 2015, she played Clare Hitchens in The Hallow, a horror film. She also had a recurring role in the TV show Shameless. More recently, she starred in Instinct from 2018 to 2019.
