Borlänge HK is a handball club from Borlänge, Sweden. It was started in 1947. This club is famous for its women's team, which has won the Swedish national championship several times.
The women's team won the Swedish championship in 1970, 1973, and 1978. They played in Sweden's top handball league for 11 seasons between 1971 and 1996. The men's team also played in the top league during the 1984–1985 season.
More recently, the women's team moved up to Division 1 North for the 2020–2021 season. This happened after they won Division 2 the season before. The men's team also won Division 2 in 2022. Because of that win, they moved up to Division 1 North starting from the 2023–2024 season.
