Borredà is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of a region known as the comarca of Berguedà. Borredà is found in the upper part of the Margençol river valley, on the eastern side of its comarca.

Borredà is a charming place with a rich history. It's known for its beautiful old houses. Many of these homes were built a long time ago, in the 1600s and 1700s.
What to See in Borredà
One of the most special places in Borredà is the Romanesque church of Sant Sadurní de Rotgers. This church is a very old building. It was built in a style called Romanesque, which means it has thick walls and round arches. It is considered a protected historical monument. You can reach this church by following a mountain path.
Getting Around Borredà
The town is connected by the C-149 road. This road links Borredà to other towns like Berga and Sant Quirze de Besora. The municipality of Borredà also surrounds a small piece of land that belongs to another town, Les Llosses. This small piece of land is called an exclave.
People of Borredà
The number of people living in Borredà has changed over the years. In 1900, about 837 people lived there. The population grew to 1090 by 1930. However, it later decreased to 863 in 1950 and 597 in 1970. By 1986, there were 445 residents. More recently, in 2007, the population was 571 people. In 2018, the population was recorded as 456.
