The Bourke Street Wesleyan Chapel is a special old building in Darlinghurst, a part of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. It was also called the Bourke Street Methodist Church.
The Chapel's History
This chapel, made of sandstone, was built a long time ago in 1847.
Later, in the 1970s, an eight-storey building was built right behind the chapel's original front and hall. This new part opened in 1979 as a residential building that helps people.
