Bradley Ogden is a famous American chef. He is known for his "farm-to-table" cooking style. This means he uses fresh, local ingredients in his dishes. He also founded a company called Bradley Ogden Hospitality.

Early Life and Training

Bradley Ogden finished his studies at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, in 1977. He did very well and received a special award. This award was given to students who were most likely to succeed.

In 1979, Chef Ogden started working as a sous chef at the American Restaurant. This restaurant was in Kansas City. He learned a lot from his friend and mentor, James Beard. Within six months, he became the executive chef. Chef Ogden says that fresh, Native American foods greatly influenced his cooking.

In 1983, he became the first executive chef at Campton Place restaurant. This restaurant was located in San Francisco. Later, in 1989, he opened his own restaurant. It was called the Lark Creek Inn, in Larkspur, California.

Chef Ogden's Career Highlights

In 2003, Chef Ogden moved to Las Vegas. There, he opened a new restaurant with his son, Bryan. Bryan is also a talented chef. This was Chef Ogden's first restaurant outside of California. Both of these restaurants have since closed.

Chef Bradley Ogden was the managing partner of Bradley Ogden Hospitality. He started this company with his son, Chef Bryan Ogden. The company focused on many things. These included developing new restaurants and creating new food products. In 2015, they opened four more restaurants. These included The Pour Society and Bradley's Fine Diner in Houston, Texas. They also opened Bradley's Fine Diner and Bradley's Funky Franks in Menlo Park, California. All of these restaurants have also closed.

As of 2023, Chef Ogden joined Marché Bacchus. This is a French-inspired restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the Culinary Director there. He is bringing his fresh, farm-to-table cooking style to this well-known restaurant. He is also building a team of chefs to help him achieve his vision.

Personal Life

As of May 2023, Chef Ogden lives in Las Vegas. He has three sons. His son Bryan is also a chef. His son Chad is a chef at a resort in Macau. His son Cory is a doctor in Woodland Hills, California.
