History of Kaiserdom Brewery
The Kaiserdom Brewery has a long and interesting history. It was started way back in 1718 by a person named Georg Morg. That means it's been around for over 300 years!
Since 1910, the Wörner family has been in charge of the brewery. They have managed it for many years, keeping the traditions alive. When they first took over, in 1953, the brewery made about 600,000 litres of drinks. Today, the company makes a lot more, producing between 20 to 30 million litres! This makes it the biggest brewery in Bamberg.
What Kaiserdom Makes
Kaiserdom Brewery makes several different kinds of drinks. They produce six types of beer, including:
- Pilsener
- Weizenbeer bright
- Weizenbeer dark
- Kristallweizen (which is a clear type of Weizenbeer)
- Schwarzbier (a dark beer)
- Alkoholfreies (this is a non-alcoholic beer, so it's safe for everyone to try!)
Besides these, they also make other soft drinks.
