When she was 15, Brenna learned to snowboard at the National Ability Center. This place helps people with disabilities learn sports. She loved snowboarding so much that she moved to Utah while still in school to focus on it.

Paralympic Success

She continued her winning streak at the 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships. She won a gold medal in the women's dual banked slalom. She also earned a silver medal in the women's snowboard cross.

Competing at the 2022 Paralympics

Brenna is classified as an SB-LL1 snowboarder. This means she has a specific type of physical challenge. In January 2022, she had to win a court case to be allowed to compete at the 2022 Winter Paralympics. This was because there were no specific SB-LL1 events for women in snowboarding that year.

Despite this challenge, she competed and won big! She earned a gold medal in the women's banked slalom SB-LL2 event. She also won a bronze medal in the women's snowboard cross SB-LL2 event.
