Brian was with the band when they recorded their very first album, which was called Inflammable Material. However, Brian decided that the busy life of being in a touring band was not for him. He chose to leave the band in 1979. His decision even inspired the words to one of Stiff Little Fingers' songs, "Wait and See."
After Stiff Little Fingers
After leaving Stiff Little Fingers, Brian Faloon still played music sometimes. In the 1990s, he would occasionally play drums as a guest with a band called Hanx. This band played songs by Stiff Little Fingers as a tribute. Hanx later became a punk band known as 'The Red Eyes'.
