Bruno Canfora was born in Milan, Italy. From a young age, he loved music. He started by studying the piano. Later, he learned to play the oboe at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. This is a famous music school in Italy.
During the Second World War, Bruno played many concerts with his music group. After the war, he moved to another city called Turin. There, he became the leader of an orchestra named Castellino Danze.

Bruno Canfora became very famous for his work in pop music. He worked with many well-known singers. One of his most important partnerships was with the Italian singer Mina. He wrote many hit songs for her, including:
