Bruzio Extra Virgin Olive Oil tastes fruity and smells nice. It looks green with a hint of yellow. This oil is great with grilled fish, cooked vegetables, or traditional dishes from the Calabria region in Italy.
How Bruzio Olive Oil Is Made
Bruzio olive oil comes from healthy olives. These olives are grown and picked in the southern part of the Province of Cosenza in Italy. The oil is made using machines and physical methods. These methods help keep the natural goodness of the olives.
Here's how it works:
- First, ripe olives are picked.
- Next, only the best olives are chosen.
- Then, these selected olives are cleaned.
- They are also defoiled, meaning leaves and twigs are removed.
- After that, the olives are crushed into a paste.
- The paste is kneaded to help release the oil.
- Finally, the oil is separated from the rest of the olive paste.
Keeping Bruzio Olive Oil Fresh
To keep Bruzio olive oil tasting its best, you need to store it carefully. It should be kept in a cool, dry place. Make sure it is away from any heat sources.
The best temperature for storing Bruzio oil is between 14°C and 20°C (57°F and 68°F). If stored correctly, the oil can stay good for 36 months or even longer. If the temperature gets too cold, the oil might freeze. If this happens, just let it warm up to room temperature. It will then be ready to use again.
