Burig facts for kids
The Burig (also called Purik) are a special group of people who are Tibetan Muslims. This means they follow the Islamic faith but have cultural roots connected to Tibet.
They mostly live in a region called Ladakh, which is a beautiful, high-altitude area. You can find many Burig people in places like Kargil and Leh within Ladakh. They live just south of another group of people called the Balti.
