About Burnett Plaza
This impressive building has 40 floors. It was finished in 1983. Burnett Plaza is surrounded by Cherry Street, West 10th Street, and West 7th Street. It was built where the old Medical Arts Building used to be.
You can see the elevator shafts on the outside of the building. They stop at different levels as you look up. The building is at one end of a large plaza. This plaza is a block long and has lots of plants and criss-crossing paths. On the north side of the plaza, there is a cool 50-foot sculpture. It's called "Man With a Briefcase" and was made by Jonathan Borofsky. It's a big aluminum slab with the shape of a giant businessman cut out of the middle.
Burnett Plaza is also the biggest office tower in Fort Worth. It is home to the main offices of the Burnett Oil Company.
