Cleon Lewis Bryant (born March 28, 1956) is an American Baptist minister. He has also been a radio and television host. Today, he lives in Jensen Beach, Florida. He is known for his work with FreedomWorks, a group that supports conservative ideas.

Early Life and Education
C.L. Bryant was born on March 28, 1956. His father, Lewis C. Bryant, was a veteran of World War II. His mother, Elnola Goode, came from De Soto Parish.
Bryant studied at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He also attended other colleges, including Bishop College and Tampa College. He earned a master's degree in theology from Shreveport Bible College. Later, he became an ordained minister.
Career and Public Work
Bryant has worked as a minister for almost 40 years. This includes a time as a missionary in the Amazon region of South America. He also spent 25 years working in finance. Currently, he is part of Word of God Ministries in Shreveport.
Radio Host and Activist
From 2015 to 2017, Bryant hosted his own radio program. It was called The C. L. Bryant Show. He is a senior fellow at FreedomWorks in Washington, D.C.. This group works to promote conservative ideas.
Bryant is a member of the Republican Party. He has often defended the party against claims of racism. In 2012, he spoke out about protests in Florida. These protests followed the controversial killing of Trayvon Martin.
Author and Filmmaker
Bryant started an organization called "One Nation Back to God." In 2012, he created a documentary film. It was titled Runaway Slave. Bryant said the film was about helping the black community. He wanted to free them from what he called "the slavery of tyranny and progressive policies."
In 2010, Bryant wrote a non-fiction book. It was called Lead Us to Temptation, Deliver Us to Evil.
Political Endorsements
On January 19, 2016, Bryant supported Senator Ted Cruz for president. Cruz was seeking the Republican presidential nomination. Later, Bryant supported Donald Trump, who became president. He also defended Trump on his radio show.
Personal Life
Bryant is married to Jane Carline Pruitt. They live in Grand Cane, Louisiana. The couple has four children and eleven grandchildren. They used to live in Tampa, Florida.
