From City Hall to Museum
Over time, the city needed more space. A new City Hall was built. This left the old Municipal Building empty. People decided to give the building a new purpose. It became the home of the Royal Gorge Regional Museum and History Center. Before this, the History Center was in the basement of the public library. Moving it to the Municipal Building gave it much more room.
