Caitlan Johnston-Green, born on January 12, 2001, is an Australian rugby league player. She currently plays for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the NRL Women's Premiership. Caitlan plays as a prop forward (prop).

Caitlan's Early Rugby Journey

Caitlan Johnston-Green was born in Belmont, New South Wales, Australia. She is from an Indigenous Australian background. Caitlan started playing rugby league when she was 11 years old. Her first team was Windale.

Playing for the Knights Junior Team

In 2018 and 2019, Caitlan played for the Newcastle Knights in the Tarsha Gale Cup. This is a competition for younger players. She was even the captain of her team in 2019.

Representing Indigenous All Stars

On February 15, 2019, Caitlan played for the Indigenous All Stars. She started the game as a second-rower (second-row). This special team plays against the Maori All Stars.

Big Wins for New South Wales

On June 21, 2019, Caitlan played for the New South Wales under-18 team. They won their game against Queensland 24–4. This was the first-ever Women's under-18 Origin game. Caitlan scored a try and was named the Player of the Match.

Joining the Sydney Roosters

Returning to the Indigenous All Stars

Becoming a Newcastle Knight

In September 2022, Caitlan was chosen for the Dream Team by the Rugby League Players Association. This team is picked by the players themselves.

On October 2, 2022, Caitlan played in the Knights' NRLW Grand Final. Her team won 32-12 against the Parramatta Eels. In 2023, Caitlan played as a prop (prop) in another Grand Final win. The Knights beat the Gold Coast Titans 24-18.

Moving to the Cronulla Sharks

In May 2024, Caitlan signed a three-year contract with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. She started playing for them in 2025.
