How the Company Works
Camillo Eitzen & Co organizes its work into different areas based on what kind of cargo its ships carry.
Moving Dry Goods
In June 2010, Camillo Eitzen & Co sold its entire share in a company called Eitzen Bulk Shipping A/S. This company used to handle ships that carried dry goods like grain or coal. After the sale, Camillo Eitzen & Co no longer owns any part of Eitzen Bulk Shipping.
Carrying Gas on Ships
The company has two main parts that deal with gas transportation. One is called Eitzen Gas, which operates 22 ships that carry gas. They also have six more gas ships on order, meaning they are being built. The other part is ENGC, which operates 18 gas ships and has three more on order. In total, these two parts operate or have ordered 49 vessels for carrying gas.
Tanker Ships
Camillo Eitzen & Co also owns six tanker ships. These ships are used to carry liquids, such as oil or chemicals. They own these tankers through three smaller companies. These companies are called Partankers I KS, Partankers II KS, and Partankers III AS. Partankers I KS owns two ships, Partankers II KS owns three, and Partankers III AS owns one. The company used to own another shipping company called Tschudi & Eitzen Shipping.
