Campari Group Connections

Campari America is closely connected to the larger Campari Group. In January 1999, Skyy Spirits worked with another company, Nasser Ahmadvand, to help sell each other's products in Asia.

Skyy Spirits was the only company allowed to bring Campari products into the United States. Also, the international part of the Campari Group was the only company allowed to sell SKYY vodka around the world, except in the United States and Puerto Rico.

On December 13, 2001, the Campari Group made a deal to become the main owner of Skyy Spirits. They bought 58.9% of the company's shares. This meant they had control over Skyy Spirits. A few years later, on February 25, 2005, Campari bought even more shares, adding another 30.1%. This brought their total ownership of Skyy Spirits to 89%.

Then, on January 11, 2012, Skyy Spirits announced that it was changing its name to Campari America. This change showed its strong connection to the Campari Group.
