Candi Carter (born February 19, 1969) is an American television producer and executive. She helps create and manage TV talk shows. She has won two big awards called Daytime Emmy Awards. One was for a children's show, and another was for a popular talk show called The View.

Candi Carter started her career in television in 1993. She began as a producer at WISN-TV. Since then, she has worked on many famous shows. These include The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, and Tamron Hall.
Working on The Oprah Winfrey Show
From 1996 to 2011, Candi Carter worked on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She started as an associate producer. Later, she became a senior producer for the show. This means she helped manage many parts of creating the show.
Leading The View
From 2015 to 2020, Carter was the executive producer for The View. An executive producer is like the main boss of a TV show. They oversee everything. She was nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards several times for her work on The View. In 2020, the show won an Emmy for "Outstanding Informative Talk Show". That same year, The View was added to the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame. Essence magazine reported that Candi Carter was the first Black woman to be an executive producer for The View.
