Carolina de Oliveira (Arabic: كارولينا دي أوليفيرا) is an actress from Syria and Brazil. She was born on November 16, 1978. Many people know her from TV shows in Lebanon. In 2016, the BBC named her one of the 100 most inspiring women. This was because of her important work helping people with mental health.

Early Life and Education

Carolina de Oliveira was born in Damascus, Syria. Her father was from Brazil, and her mother was from Syria and Lebanon. She went to the Jesus and Mary School near Beirut, Lebanon. Later, she studied fashion design at the University of Lyon in France. She earned a master's degree there. In 2015, she became a citizen of Lebanon.

Television Career

De Oliveira started her career in television in 1997. She began working at the Future TV network. After that, she joined Orbit TV's show 'Oyoun Beirut'.

Moving to New Channels

She then moved to NBN (National Broadcasting Network) in Lebanon. There, she hosted four different shows. These included "Al Sabahieh", "3al Moda", "3al Eticket", and "Special".

Carolina became very well-known after joining MBC. This is a popular Arab satellite TV channel. At MBC, she hosted shows like "Ante", "Wakif Il Sa3a", and "She Style". She also presented "Lux Fashion World". One of her most popular roles was hosting three seasons of the reality show "The Biggest Winner". In 2010, Carolina moved to the news channel Al Arabiya. There, she hosted "Drama Ramadan" and "Cinema in a Week". In 2009, she also appeared in the film "Kalemni Shokran".
