Casey Elliot Thomas was born on November 14, 1990. He is a Welsh footballer. Casey plays as a winger. He has also played for the Wales under-21 team. Currently, he plays for Moreland City FC.
Casey Thomas's Football Journey
Casey Thomas started his professional football career at Swansea City. He made his first professional appearance for the team on August 15, 2009. This was in a Championship match against Middlesbrough. He came into the game as a substitute in the 62nd minute.
In October 2009, Casey joined Newport County for a short time. This was a loan deal, meaning he played for them temporarily. He played one match for Newport County as a substitute. After this, he went back to Swansea City.
Later, in January 2011, Casey went on another loan. This time, he played for Port Talbot Town. In November 2011, he joined Colchester United on loan until January 2012.
Casey left Swansea City in May 2012. He then joined Carmarthen Town, a team in the Welsh Premier League. In September 2013, he signed with Afan Lido, another Welsh Premier League club. After Afan Lido moved down a league in 2014, Casey joined Port Talbot Town again.
In February 2015, Casey and his brother Corey moved to Australia. There, they both joined the football club Moreland City FC.
Playing for Wales
Casey Thomas has also played for his country, Wales, at different age levels. He represented the Wales under-17 team. He also played for the Wales under-19 team. For the under-19 team, he played two matches and scored one goal. In March 2009, he was chosen to join the Wales under-21 squad. They were set to play against Luxembourg under-21.
