Catherine de Foix (born around 1455 – died before 1494) was a noblewoman from France. She was part of an important family during the Middle Ages.
Catherine was the daughter of Gaston IV, Count of Foix, and Eleanor of Navarre. Her grandparents were John II of Aragon and Blanche I of Navarre. This means she came from a very powerful and royal background.
Catherine married Gaston de Foix, Count of Candale. Together, they had several children:
- Gaston de Foix, who became the 3rd Count of Candale.
- Jean de Foix, who became an Archbishop in Bordeaux.
- Pierre de Foix, who passed away without having any children.
- Anne de Foix (1484-1506), who later married King Vladislaus II of Bohemia and Hungary. This marriage connected her family to even more royal lines in Europe.
