Cathy Jordan is a talented Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. She was born in 1972 in Scramogue, a small place in County Roscommon, Ireland. Cathy is known for her amazing voice and for playing many instruments. These include the guitar, the bodhrán (a type of Irish drum), bones (a simple percussion instrument), and the Irish bouzouki (a string instrument).
Since 1991, Cathy has been the main singer for the famous traditional Irish music band called Dervish. She also performs on her own and is part of another music group called The Unwanted.
