Cecilia Mangini (born July 31, 1927 – died January 21, 2021) was an Italian film director. She is known as the first female documentary filmmaker in Italy. Documentaries are films that show real life and real events.

In 1958, Cecilia Mangini released her first documentary film. It was called Ignoti alla Città, which means Unknown to the City. This film was about teenagers living in the poor areas of Rome after World War II. A famous writer named Pier Paolo Pasolini helped write the film.

Cecilia Mangini passed away in Rome in 2021.
