The Century Building is a cool old building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It's located in an area called the Cultural District. This tall, twelve-story building was first built way back in 1907. It was designed to be an office building.
Today, the Century Building is still busy! It has a restaurant on the ground floor. There are also two floors of offices. Plus, it has 60 apartments where people live. Because it's such an important and historic place, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Century Building has won special recognition! In 2010, it received an award from a group called AIA Pittsburgh. This award was for "Historic Preservation." It means the building was recognized for being well-preserved and keeping its important history alive.
