Chef Jeremiah's Early Cooking Journey
Chef Jeremiah started his cooking journey in 1998. He went to Johnson & Wales Culinary School in North Miami, Florida. After learning a lot there, he worked at some of the world's most famous restaurants. These included places like elBulli and Noma. He learned from top chefs like Ferran Adrià.

gastroPod Miami: A Food Truck Adventure
In 2009, Chef Jeremiah turned an old 1962 Airstream trailer into a cool mobile kitchen. He called it gastroPod Miami. This was one of the first street food trucks in South Florida! In just one year, gastroPod was named the "Best Food Truck" by the Miami New Times.
Some of his special dishes from the truck included:
- The Old Dirty Dog: A smoked hot dog with a sweet and spicy slaw.
- The Bánh Mì Taco: A unique taco with oxtail and pickled radishes.
- Curry in a Hurry: A tasty vegan curry with rice.
gastroPod also hosted special "podBrunch" events in different places. One event at the Wolfsonian Museum in Miami Beach had a special menu. It featured creative dishes like French toast ice cream and pumpkin spice bundt cakes.
The Pickle Peoples
In 2012, Chef Jeremiah started a new project called The Pickle Peoples. He used new technology to make delicious pickled foods. Some of his pickled creations were even used in special drinks at a pop-up bar called The Broken Shaker.
Subatomic Sandwiches
In late 2013, Chef Jeremiah opened another spot called Subatomic Sandwiches. It was located at the Wolfsonian-FIU museum in Miami Beach, Florida.
Cooking for a Star
Chef Jeremiah is also the personal chef for the famous rapper Rick Ross. He even appeared with Rick Ross in a TV commercial for Reebok Classics in 2013.

- In 2013, he made it to the final round on the Food Network show Chopped.

- In 2015, he reached the final round of Cutthroat Kitchen.
Starring in His Own Series
In 2017, Chef Jeremiah got his own reality series called Chef Jeremiah Forks It!. It aired on Verizon's go90 and Complex.com.

Chef Jeremiah also started two yearly food festivals in Miami:
- Duck Duck Goose: This festival features Miami chefs cooking amazing dishes with local fowl.
