Choc Nut was first made by a company called New Unity Sweets Manufacturing Corporation (Unisman). This company was located in a place called Malabon in the Philippines.

Later, in 2013, the Choc Nut brand was bought by Annie's Manufacturing and Packaging Corporation. This is the same company that makes Hany, which is another popular candy bar that is similar to Choc Nut.

In 2018, Choc Nut started making a new product. They introduced a sweet chocolate peanut spread. It tastes just like the candy bar!

How Choc Nut is Packaged

Choc Nut comes in different sized packages. You can find "King" packages, which have 24 pieces of candy. There are also "SP" packages, which have 16 pieces.

Each "King" package has twenty-four small bars, and each bar weighs 8 grams. The "SP" package has sixteen bars, and each of these bars is a bit bigger, weighing 16 grams.

Every single Choc Nut bar is wrapped individually. It has a paper-backed foil inside and a colorful outer wrapper. This outer wrapper shows the Choc Nut logo and its famous red stripes. When the candy was made by Unisman, the outer paper was white. Today, the packages are a bronze color with white and red lines going across them.
