Early Soccer Days
Chrisnovic started playing soccer when he was nine years old. He played for youth teams like AS Concordia and CS Panellinios. In 2016, he joined the Montreal Impact Academy. He played there for two years. He left in 2018 when he became too old for their youth program.
Playing for Clubs
Starting in Quebec
In 2018, Chrisnovic joined CS Longueuil. This team plays in Quebec's top soccer league.
Playing in the Canadian Premier League
In February 2019, Chrisnovic signed his first professional contract. He joined HFX Wanderers, a team in the Canadian Premier League. He signed with them again for the 2020 season. He was one of only seven players who returned from the 2019 team.
Chrisnovic helped the Wanderers reach the 2020 CPL Championship final. They played against Forge FC but lost. After the 2020 season, he was nominated for the CPL U-21 Player of the Year award. This award is for the best young player under 21.
Moving to York United
In November 2020, Chrisnovic signed with York United. His younger brother, Felix, had joined the same club the day before. Chrisnovic chose York United over other teams.
He played his first game for York on June 27, 2021. This was during the 2021 season opener against Cavalry FC. Chrisnovic scored his first goal for York on October 24 against Atlético Ottawa. After the season, York United decided to keep him for the 2022 season. In December 2022, Chrisnovic left York United. They could not agree on a new contract.
Playing in the USA
In February 2023, he joined Huntsville City FC in MLS Next Pro. He played his first game on March 26 against Crown Legacy FC. He also joined the main team, Nashville SC, for a short time in April. This was for a US Open Cup match, but he did not play in that game.
Playing in Sweden
In January 2024, Chrisnovic signed a two-year contract with Östersunds FK. This team plays in the Superettan league in Sweden.
Playing for Canada
In 2014, Chrisnovic first joined the Canadian youth soccer program. He attended a special camp for the Canada U15 team.
In 2017, he was chosen to play for a Quebec-Canada U20 team. They played friendly games against Haiti U20. Haiti's team was getting ready for the 2017 Jeux de la Francophonie. Chrisnovic was then named to the Quebec U20 team for the same event.
