History of Christina
The area where Christina is located first got a post office in 1884. A post office is a place where you can send and receive mail. This first post office was named Saltbrook.
In 1885, the post office's name was changed to Christina. It was named after Christina Hilger, who was the wife of David Hilger. Over the years, the post office opened and closed a few times. It closed for good in 1988.
