Citroën Xantia facts for kids
The Citroën Xantia was a car made by the French company Citroën. It was built from 1993 to 2001. This car replaced the Citroën BX and was later replaced by the Citroën C5. It came in two main styles: a hatchback (like a regular car with a back door that lifts up) and an estate (a longer car with more space in the back, also called a station wagon). Towards the end of its time, it was sold as a more affordable option in France.
What Made the Xantia Move?
Cars need engines to move! The Citroën Xantia had many different types of engines. These engines gave the car different amounts of power. Some were smaller and used less fuel. Others were bigger and more powerful, making the car go faster. Both petrol (gasoline) and diesel engines were available for the Xantia.
