Cláudia Rafaela Teixeira Pascoal (born October 12, 1994) is a talented singer and songwriter from Gondomar, Portugal. She became well-known when she represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Cláudia has also appeared on popular TV talent shows like The Voice Portugal.

Cláudia Pascoal's Music Journey

Early TV Shows and Talent Contests

Cláudia Pascoal started her journey in music on TV talent shows. In 2010, she took part in Ídolos. She also appeared on Factor X in 2013.

In 2014, Cláudia tried out to be a presenter for a talk show called Curto Circuito. She finished in third place. She returned to Ídolos for a second time in 2015.

The Voice and Eurovision Success

In 2017, Cláudia joined the fifth season of The Voice Portugal. She made it to the semi-finals, finishing in sixth place overall.

The next year, in 2018, Cláudia won Festival da Canção. This is a national contest that chooses Portugal's song for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her winning song was "O jardim", written by Isaura. Since Portugal was hosting Eurovision that year, she automatically got a spot in the final. At the Eurovision final, her song received 39 points and placed 26th.

First Album: !

After Eurovision, Cláudia continued to release new music. In 2019, she put out two singles: "Ter e Não Ter" and "Viver". The song "Viver" was a collaboration with Samuel Úria.

In March 2020, Cláudia released her first studio album. It was simply called !. She also released "Espalha Brasas" as the third single from this album.

Second Album: !!

On May 19, 2023, Cláudia Pascoal released her second studio album, named !!. She wrote and composed almost all the songs on this album herself. David Fonseca and Marante helped produce the music. The album also includes a cover of the song "I Play Tennis" by Miuda. Cláudia has mentioned that some songs made for !! might appear on a future third album.
