Claudia Portocarrero (born on August 1, 1985) is a famous Peruvian cumbia dancer. She became well-known after being discovered by Nilver Huarac. Claudia has performed with groups like Alma Bella, Lisette, and with her friend and fellow performer, Dilbert Aguilar.

Claudia's Journey to Fame

Claudia's popularity started growing when she appeared on the TV show "Ritmo de los Sábados" (Saturday Rhythm). After that, she was featured in other popular shows such as "Sábado Bravazo", "Tijereteando", "La combi", and "La Escuelita" (The Little School). On these shows, she acted alongside famous Peruvian actors like Adolfo Chuiman, Pablo Villanueva "Melcochita", and Ramón García.

Co-hosting a TV Show

As Claudia became more popular, she was chosen to be a co-host for a TV show called ¡Qué Pais!. She hosted this show with Beto Ortiz on Panamericana (Channel 5). The show first aired on June 4, 2007. It was a short-lived show that was broadcast every Monday night from 8 to 10 PM, at the same time as the ATV show "Magaly TV".

Dancing on Reality TV

In 2013, Claudia also showed off her dancing skills on the reality competition show El Gran Show. This show features celebrities competing in dance challenges.
