The Story of Coava Coffee

Matt Higgins started Coava Coffee Roasters in 2008. He had a great idea to create a special coffee company. In 2018, Matt was recognized for his hard work. He was named Oregon's small business person of the year.

The company has grown over the years. In 2017, Coava Coffee opened its fourth shop in downtown Portland. That same year, they also opened a new location in San Diego.

Coava Coffee even appeared on a popular TV show. It was featured on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. On the show, comedian Jerry Seinfeld visited Coava's main shop in Portland. He went there with fellow comedian Fred Armisen.
