Coby Scott Bell was born on May 11, 1975. He is an American actor. You might know him best for playing Jesse Porter in the TV show Burn Notice. He also played Jason Pitts, a professional football player, in the show The Game. Coby Bell also starred as police officer Tyrone "Ty" Davis, Jr. in the drama Third Watch. He was also Aaron in the Amazon series Mad Dogs.

Early Life and Acting Career
Coby Bell was born in Orange County, California. His father, Michael Bell, was also an actor who worked on Broadway. Before he started acting, Coby went to San Jose State University. He graduated with good grades from there.
Coby began his acting career with small parts in different TV shows. These included The Parent 'Hood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and ER. He then got a role as Patrick Owen in the show L.A. Doctors for 13 episodes.
In 1999, Coby Bell got a big role as Officer Ty Davis, Jr. on the NBC drama Third Watch. He was one of only five actors who stayed on the show for all six seasons. While working on Third Watch, he also acted in a play called Safe.
After Third Watch ended in 2005, Coby Bell got a recurring role on the TV show Half & Half. He played Glen Stallworth, a firefighter. In 2006, Coby starred in and helped produce an independent movie called Drifting Elegant. This was his first time working as a producer.
That same year, he appeared in an episode of Girlfriends. This episode was actually the pilot for a new show called The Game. Coby Bell starred in The Game as Jason Pitts, the captain of a fictional football team. He continued playing Jason Pitts when the show returned on BET in 2011. In 2010, Coby joined the cast of the USA Network series Burn Notice. He played Jesse Porter, a former spy.
From 2017 to 2019, Coby Bell played Agent Turner in the Marvel Studios series The Gifted. In 2020, he was cast as Captain Larry James. This role is in the CW western crime drama series Walker.
Personal Life and Hobbies
Coby Bell is married to Aviss Pinkney-Bell. They have four children together. They have three girls and one boy, who are two sets of twins!
Besides acting, Coby Bell is also a talented musician and songwriter. He plays in a reggae band. He also helps young people through the Big Brothers of America program. He acts as a mentor to kids who need guidance.
