Connie Francis sings Fun Songs For Children is a studio album of children's songs. It was recorded by the famous American pop singer Connie Francis. This album is special because it's one of the few albums by Connie Francis released only in a single sound channel.
All the songs on the album were co-written by George Goehring. He was a talented songwriter who also helped create one of Connie's biggest hits earlier that year, Lipstick On Your Collar.
The album first came out in November 1959. It was released by Lion Records, which was a smaller company connected to Connie's main record label, MGM Records. In March 1962, the album was re-released directly by MGM Records. When it was re-released, it also got a brand new cover design! In Britain, the album was quickly released by EMI, which was Connie's record distributor there. They used the original artwork from Lion Records.
