A Traveling Musician
After his studies, Conrad Ansorge became a touring musician. He traveled all over Europe and even went to the United States to perform. He was especially famous for how he played the music of Beethoven, another very famous composer. People loved his interpretations of Beethoven's pieces.
In 1890, one of his own compositions, a symphony called "Orpheus," was performed in New York City. This was a big deal for him as a composer.
