Calvin Bellamy (born July 4, 1970), known as Coo Coo Cal, is a rapper from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the United States. He is also a truck driver! Coo Coo Cal became famous in 2001 when his song "My Projects" reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart.

Coo Coo Cal's Music Journey
Early Albums
Coo Coo Cal released his first album, Game, in 1996. It came out on a record label called In The Trunk Records. His second album, Walkin' Dead, was released in 1999 by Infinite Recordings.
The Hit Song "My Projects"
In 2001, Coo Coo Cal released his third album, Disturbed, through Tommy Boy Records. This album featured his most successful song, "My Projects." This song became a huge hit, climbing all the way to number one on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart. It was a big moment for his career!
Later Music
After leaving Tommy Boy Records in 2002, Coo Coo Cal released another album called Still Walkin'. This album was a follow-up to his earlier Walkin' Dead album. In 2004, he released his fifth album, All or Nothin'. Coo Coo Cal returned to music in 2018 with a new song called "Home." He also released a special video that told his life story.
