Cooter's Place, also known as Cooter's, is a group of three museums in the United States. These museums display items from the American TV show The Dukes of Hazzard. The museums are named after Cooter Davenport, a main character from the show.
These museums are run by Ben Jones. He is the actor who played Cooter Davenport on the TV series.

Cooter's Place: A Dukes of Hazzard Museum
Who is Cooter Davenport?

Cooter Davenport is the mechanic in Hazzard County. This is the fictional place where The Dukes of Hazzard show takes place. At the start of the show, Cooter was a bit wild and didn't always follow the rules. Because of this, his friends gave him the CB nickname "Crazy Cooter."
Later in the first season, Cooter became more calm and easy-going. He owns a repair shop called "Cooter's Garage." It is located across from the Hazzard County Sheriffs' Department.

Cooter's Place has three museum locations. Each one shows off cool items and vehicles from The Dukes of Hazzard. You can see famous cars like the General Lee (car) and Daisy's Jeep.
Cooter's Place in Pigeon Forge, TN
This museum was once in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It moved to the nearby town of Pigeon Forge in 2019. This location is a museum and a shop. It displays a few General Lees and Daisy's Jeep.
Cooter's Place in Luray, VA
The Luray, Virginia, location moved from Sperryville in 2017. Here you can find Daisy's Diner. Daisy Duke is Bo, Luke, Coy, and Vance's cousin on the show. This museum also features Cooter's tow truck, known as "the wrecker." You can also see a replica of Cooter's garage and another General Lee car. These were all common sights on the TV show.
Cooter's Place in Nashville, TN
The Nashville, Tennessee, museum also has some famous vehicles. You can see Cooter's tow truck ("the wrecker") and Daisy's Jeep. There is also Rosco's patrol car and another General Lee on display.
