Cordillera is a small area in Panama. It's like a special local division called a corregimiento. This area is part of the Boquerón District in the Chiriquí Province.
Cordillera covers about 49.3 square kilometers (19 square miles) of land. In 2010, about 590 people lived there. This means there were about 12 people per square kilometer (31 people per square mile). The number of people living in Cordillera has grown over the years. In 1990, there were 361 people, and by 2000, the population was 471.
