Cosquín River facts for kids
The Cosquín River is a small but important river in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. It flows through a beautiful area known as the Punilla Valley. This river is part of a bigger water system that eventually connects to the Suquía River.
About the Cosquín River
The Cosquín River gets its water from several smaller rivers and streams. It flows south through the Punilla Valley. As it passes by the city of Cosquín, its name changes to the Santa María River.
Where the River Flows
The Cosquín River eventually flows into the San Roque River. From there, its waters empty into the San Roque Lake. This lake is an artificial reservoir, which means it's a large lake created by people, usually by building a dam. It helps store water for the area.
