Craftopia is a super fun American TV show you can watch online! It's a reality competition where kids get to show off their amazing crafting skills. The show first started on HBO Max on May 27, 2020. It was so popular that they decided to make a second season!
What is Craftopia About?
Craftopia is a special crafting competition just for young people, usually between 9 and 15 years old. In each episode, the contestants get a challenge to create something cool within a certain amount of time.
Before they start crafting, there's a super exciting race! The kids rush to a giant "store" filled with all sorts of craft supplies. They have to quickly grab everything they think they'll need for their project.
Then, they get to work, following instructions to make their unique creations. The goal is to build the best craft that the judges love the most. The winner takes home a special trophy called the "Craftrophia" and $5,000!
Who Made Craftopia?
The show was made by a company called B17 Entertainment. The host of Craftopia is Lauren Riihimaki, who many people know as LaurDIY from her popular online videos.
The show was first announced in October 2019. It was then confirmed in April 2020 that Craftopia would be one of the first shows available when the new streaming service HBO Max launched on May 27, 2020.
