Cris Horwang, whose real name is Celine Horwang (Thai: ศิริน หอวัง), is a talented Thai actress, model, singer, DJ, and ballet teacher. She was born on July 5, 1980. Cris became very famous after starring in the romantic comedy movie Bangkok Traffic Love Story in 2009. This role made her a big star in Thailand.

Cris was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She started working in entertainment when she was 14, appearing in advertisements. She went to Ruamrudee International School and studied dance at Aree Dance Arts School in Bangkok.

After the 1997 economic crisis, her parents decided she should study abroad. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Walnut Hill Performance Arts School in Boston. Later, she studied advanced ballet at the California Institute of the Arts in the USA.

After finishing college, Cris returned to Bangkok. She became a dance teacher at the International School Bangkok (ISB). She also worked as a DJ at Fat Radio. Her most famous role was in Bangkok Traffic Love Story. This movie earned a lot of money and won many awards.

Cris's Career Journey

Cris officially started her career in Thai entertainment after returning from the United States. She has worked in the business for many years. Her sister, Ploy Horwang, invited Cris and Koy Rachawin to be DJs on 104.5 Fat Radio. This was her first job.

She also got chances to work as a model, presenter, and singer. A producer named Tom Yutthalerd noticed her. He asked her to play "Ma Khin" in the romantic comedy movie "E-Tim tai nae". Even though it was a smaller role, her talent was clear.

Later, she was chosen to play "Meili" in Bangkok Traffic Love Story. She starred alongside the famous Thai actor, Ken Theeradej. This movie was her big breakthrough.

Since then, Cris has been a popular Thai celebrity. She has continued to work as an actress, model, singer, presenter, choreographer, and dance teacher. Some other movies she has been in include Saturday Killer (2010), Headshot (2011), Seven Something (2012), and Oh My Ghost (2013). More recently, she became a mentor on the popular TV show, The Face Thailand. In 2018, she was a guest judge on an episode of Drag Race Thailand (season 1).

In 2011, Cris also started her own brand of handbags and accessories called Secret Weapon.
