Cris Horwang, whose real name is Celine Horwang, is a talented actress, model, singer, and dancer from Thailand. Many people know her as a DJ and even a ballet teacher! She became super famous in 2009 after starring in the romantic comedy movie Bangkok Traffic Love Story. This movie made her a big star very quickly.

Cris Horwang's Early Life and Education

Cris Horwang was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 5, 1980. She started working in the entertainment world when she was just 14 years old, appearing in advertisements.

She went to Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok. She also studied dance at the Aree Dance Arts School. Later, her parents decided she should study abroad.

Cris then earned a Bachelor's degree from Walnut Hill Performance Arts School in Boston, USA. She continued her dance studies, focusing on advanced ballet, at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

After finishing college, Cris came back to Bangkok. She became a dance teacher at the International School Bangkok (ISB). She also worked as a DJ at a radio station called Fat Radio.

Cris Horwang's Career Journey

Cris officially started her career in Thailand after returning from the United States. She has been working in the entertainment business for many years.

Her first job was as a DJ on 104.5 Fat Radio. Her sister, Ploy Horwang, invited her and Koy Rachawin to join. This led to other chances to work as a model, presenter, and singer.

A movie producer named Tom Yutthalerd noticed her. He asked her to be in the romantic comedy movie "E-Tim tai nae" as a character named "Ma Khin." Even though it was a smaller role, her talent was clear.

Later, she was chosen for the main role of "Meili" in Bangkok Traffic Love Story. She starred alongside the famous Thai actor, Ken Theeradej. This movie was a huge success, earning over 100 million Baht, and made her a household name.

Since then, Cris has been a very popular Thai celebrity. She continues to work as an actress, model, singer, presenter, choreographer, and dance teacher.
