How It Started
Crunch 'n Munch first came out in 1966. A company called Franklin Nut Company created and sold it. It quickly became a popular snack.
Changing Hands
Over the years, Crunch 'n Munch was owned by different companies. In 1980, American Home Foods bought it. Later, in 1996, this part of the company became International Home Foods. Then, in 2000, a big food company called ConAgra purchased International Home Foods. ConAgra still makes Crunch 'n Munch today.
A Baseball Snack
In 2004, something interesting happened with Crunch 'n Munch and baseball. The New York Yankees, a famous baseball team, decided to sell Crunch 'n Munch at their games. They usually sold another snack called Cracker Jack. Some fans preferred Cracker Jack's taste. Because of this, the Yankees soon switched back to selling Cracker Jack.
