The Curtis–Kittleson House (also known as the Thoreau House) is a historic house located at 1102 Spright Street in Madison, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

History

The house was built for William Dexter Curtis, future Mayor of Madison, and his wife, Mary. In 1949, the house was purchased by Isaac Milo Kittleson, who had previously also been Mayor of Madison, and his wife, Ida. The house was designated a landmark by the Madison Landmarks Commission in 1978. It is located within the Orton Park Historic District.
