Cynthia Addai-Robinson (born January 12, 1980) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in several TV shows and movies. You might know her as Naevia in the TV series Spartacus, or as the DC Comics character Amanda Waller in Arrow. She also played Nadine Memphis in the series Shooter. Currently, she stars as Tar-Míriel in the popular The Lord of the Rings series The Rings of Power on Amazon Prime.

Early Life and Education
Cynthia Addai-Robinson was born in London, England. Her mother is from Ghana, and her father is an American citizen. When Cynthia was four years old, she moved to the United States. She was raised by her mother in a suburb near Washington, D.C.
She went to Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Later, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. There, she earned a degree in Theater. She also trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, which is a famous acting school.
Acting Career Highlights
Cynthia Addai-Robinson began her acting journey in various plays. Her first TV role was in 2002 in a show called The Education of Max Bickford. After that, she appeared in many popular TV series. These included Law & Order: Trial by Jury, CSI: Miami, and Numb3rs.
In 2009, she got her first regular role as Debbie, a nurse, in the ABC drama FlashForward. The same year, she was in an independent film called Mississippi Damned.
Big Screen and Major TV Roles
In 2011, Cynthia made her first appearance in a major film, Colombiana. She played the mother of a character played by Zoe Saldana.
Her biggest role came between 2012 and 2013. She was cast as Naevia in the third and fourth seasons of the hit series Spartacus. This role made her well-known to many viewers.
In 2013, she played Aja, a powerful witch, in two episodes of The Vampire Diaries. She also had a small part in the movie Star Trek Into Darkness. Later that year, she joined the cast of Arrow as the character Amanda Waller. She appeared in this popular show many times.
In 2015, Cynthia starred as Emily West in the History Channel miniseries Texas Rising. Her performance earned her a nomination for an award.
She also appeared in the 2016 film The Accountant, alongside actors like Ben Affleck. In this movie, she played a U.S. Treasury Department analyst. In 2016, she took on the lead female role in the TV series Shooter.
More recently, she joined the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. In this fantasy series, she plays the important role of Tar-Míriel.
