Damian Baliński, born on August 5, 1977, in Poland, is a famous motorcycle speedway rider. He used to race motorcycles on special oval tracks. He even represented his home country, Poland, in international races.
Speedway Career
Damian was a key member of the Poland national speedway team. He spent many years racing in Poland. He rode for only three main clubs during his 29 seasons there. These clubs were Unia Leszno, Rybnik, and Rawicz.
He also raced for one season in the British leagues. This was with the Swindon Robins team in 2007. He also raced in Sweden and Denmark during his career.

Damian Baliński has won many important titles in speedway.
- World Champion: He helped the Polish team win the Speedway World Cup in 2007. This made them the Team World Champions!
- Polish Champion: He also won the Team Speedway Polish Championship with his team in 2007.
- Golden Helmet Winner: In 2008, Damian won the prestigious Golden Helmet competition in Poland.
- Polish Pairs Champion: He won the Polish Pairs Championship in 2003.
- Under-21 Polish Champion: He was a Polish Champion in the Under-21 Pairs in both 1996 and 1997.
- Bronze Medalist: He earned a bronze medal in the Individual Polish Championship in 2007. He also won bronze in the Individual Under-21 Polish Championship in 1996.
Family Life
Damian Baliński comes from a family of speedway riders. His older brother, Dariusz, also raced speedway. Damian's nephew, Damian Jr., born in 1989, is also a speedway rider.
Damian is married to Aneta. They have two sons named Mikołaj and Filip, who was born in 2009.
