Danielle Cormack (born December 26, 1970) is an actress from New Zealand who has appeared on stage and on screen. She is well-known for her roles in many popular television shows.
Cormack was one of the first actors in the long-running soap opera Shortland Street. She also played the Amazon warrior Ephiny in Xena: Warrior Princess and Shota in Legend of the Seeker. Some of her other famous roles were in the Australian TV shows Rake and Wentworth.

Acting Career
Danielle Cormack has had a long and successful career as an actress in both New Zealand and Australia. She has played many different characters, showing her wide range of talent.
Famous Television Roles
From 2012 to 2016, Cormack starred as Bea Smith in the prison drama Wentworth. This role made her very popular with audiences. The character of Bea Smith was first played by Val Lehman in an older show called Prisoner. Even after leaving the show, Cormack has stayed connected with fans by attending Wentworth events.
She also played the real-life historical figure Kate Leigh in the series Underbelly: Razor. In 2023, she appeared in a TV series called ... Stories and was part of the cast for a New Zealand show called Madam.
In 2022, Cormack was the narrator for a documentary series called Life on the Outside. This show followed people who had recently been released from prison.
Working Behind the Scenes
