College Basketball Journey
Darral started his college basketball career at Pearl River Community College. He played there for two years. He was a very strong player in the junior college league.
After his time at Pearl River, many top universities wanted him. He chose to play for Wichita State University. He played for Wichita State until 2018.
Professional Career Highlights
Starting in Cyprus
After college, Darral Willis Jr. was not chosen in the 2018 NBA draft. He then began his professional career overseas. His first team was Keravnos in the Cypriot League.
He had a great first year with Keravnos. He helped his team win the Cypriot Cup. In the final game, he scored 40 points and got 17 rebounds. Because of his amazing performance, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Cup Final.
Playing in Europe and Asia
After his success in Cyprus, Darral moved to other teams. In 2020, he joined AS Monaco in France. Later that season, he moved to Italy to play for Brescia.
In September 2021, he signed with BC Enisey in Russia. The next year, in August 2022, he joined Lokomotiv Kuban, also in Russia.
In January 2023, Darral moved to Asia. He signed with the Seoul Samsung Thunders in South Korea. Later that year, in August 2023, he joined Levanga Hokkaido in Japan.
Recent Teams
In July 2024, Darral signed with Kyoto Hannaryz in Japan. However, his contract ended in September 2024 due to a medical check.
In November 2024, Darral Willis Jr. joined Aris Thessaloniki. This team plays in the Greek Basketball League. He played for Aris for the rest of that season.
