Dashkasan is an important administrative area, or raion, located in the country of Azerbaijan. Before 1956, this district was known by the name Dastafur.

This district is found in the northwestern part of Azerbaijan. It is located about 33 to 41 kilometers away from the city of Ganja. The main city and capital of the Dashkasan raion is Dashkasan city.
