In 1987, Dassant launched another popular product: the Truffle Brownie mix. This brownie mix became very famous. In 1992, a newspaper called the San Francisco Chronicle said Dassant's Truffle Brownie Mix was the best. It even beat out other big brands like Pillsbury and Betty Crocker.

More Mixes and Awards

Through the 1990s, Dassant kept adding new mixes. They made mixes for cakes, cookies, and pancakes. They also had a vanilla scone mix. In 1992, the Atlanta Journal newspaper named Dassant's Old English Scone "Atlanta's Best Scone."
